The Bentmoor Community Men’s Shed, located at Moorleigh Community Village in Bentleigh East, Victoria, is a purpose-built community facility designed to support men’s health, wellbeing, and social connection through shared activities, workshops, and skill development. The facility forms part of the broader Glen Eira community infrastructure, providing dedicated spaces for woodwork, metalwork, and general workshop activities, along with communal breakout areas that encourage collaboration and engagement.
EDSA Group was engaged as the electrical contractor to deliver the electrical light and power installation for the new facility. The project required coordination within a community-focused development, ensuring all electrical systems supported workshop operations, equipment use, and safe day-to-day functionality. Works were delivered in accordance with Australian Standards and project specifications, with a focus on reliability, safety, and long-term performance within a high-use environment.
Completed in July 2020, the Bentmoor Men’s Shed demonstrates EDSA Group’s capability in delivering community and government projects across Melbourne, providing compliant and functional electrical infrastructure that supports local engagement, skills development, and community wellbeing
