Casey ARC Aquatic Centre in Narre Warren, Victoria, is a major municipal aquatic and leisure facility within the City of Casey, servicing Melbourne’s south-east with high-volume public access across aquatic, fitness, and community spaces. The centre operates as a critical community asset, requiring robust, compliant, and high-performing electrical infrastructure to support continuous operation and diverse end-user demands.

EDSA Group was engaged as the electrical contractor to deliver upgrade and expansion works within a live operational environment, requiring detailed staging, coordination, and minimal disruption to ongoing facility use. The scope included lighting upgrades across existing areas to improve performance, efficiency, and compliance, as well as the delivery of electrical light and power services for the facility extension. Works were executed in accordance with Australian Standards and project-specific performance requirements, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.

As part of the project, EDSA Group also designed and installed a 340kW solar PV system, providing a significant renewable energy contribution to the facility. The system was coordinated to align with site operations and authority requirements, supporting long-term energy cost reduction and sustainability outcomes for the asset.

The project demonstrates EDSA Group’s capability to deliver complex electrical, lighting, and solar infrastructure within operational public facilities, with a strong focus on programme, compliance, and coordination. Casey ARC Aquatic Centre now benefits from enhanced electrical performance, improved energy efficiency, and future-ready infrastructure supporting ongoing community use.
