ALDI Ocean Grove in Victoria is a purpose-built retail development delivering a modern supermarket facility within the Bellarine Peninsula growth corridor. Designed to meet ALDI’s national standards for efficiency, functionality, and customer experience, the project forms part of the expanding retail infrastructure servicing the Ocean Grove and greater Geelong region. Delivered as a new build, the development required full coordination of building services to support a high-performance retail environment.

EDSA Group was engaged as the electrical contractor to deliver the electrical light and power, along with data and communications infrastructure across the site. The works included coordination and connection of a new electrical supply from the local substation, ensuring sufficient capacity and reliability to support supermarket operations, including refrigeration systems, point-of-sale infrastructure, and back-of-house services. All installations were completed in accordance with Australian Standards and project-specific requirements, with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and programme delivery.

Completed in 2019, the ALDI Ocean Grove project demonstrates EDSA Group’s capability in delivering electrical infrastructure for large-format retail developments across Melbourne and regional Victoria.
